I’ve mentioned several times that I will be dancing at the East Village Arts Party, but I won’t be the only artist or entertainer there.  Here are two other great reasons to attend the Arts Party:

1. Rod Sanchez – Visual Communications Designer / Artist

I met Rod at last year’s Arts Party.  Not only is he incredibly talented, he’s also a really great guy!  I’m excited to see what he has in store of us this year!!!  Check out his website and his invite below.

2. RAINation (Real Artist Independent Nation) – hiphop/alternative/reggae

I mentioned RAINation in my Quick Takes last week.  A few guys from the band will make their debut at the Arts Party on Saturday.  You aren’t going to want to miss this!  Well, I know I don’t want to miss it!  Be sure to check out their new website, which include some videos and music samples, to get an idea of what they have in store for Saturday.

This is just a small sample of what the Arts Party has to offer on Saturday.  You can’t beat this deal: a night jammed full with various performance artists, a plethora of visual art displays, and drinks, all for $15 (at the door with a reservation)/$25 (at the door without a reservation).  Even if you don’t make a reservation, that’s a pretty good price for the entire night!  So come out and support the arts!!!
